SHIMO is a fictional jewellery brand created by Ada Sokol

and Etienne Garachon.

Likened to “frost” (its Japanese meaning), SHIMO  celebrates the glory of shimmers and sparkle in wintry moods by highlight the allure of precious stones ranging from obsidians,

pink crystals of kunzite, and quartz with pyrite inclusions and rarely known dark metal: Back Ruthenium.

The uncanny forms and shapes of SHIMO are also inspired by Wabi-Sabi, an ancient Japanese philosophy focused on finding beauty in imperfection and transient nature of life.
